State Police Lettering 14614

One of the larger State Law Enforcement Agencies in the US recently tested TALON Grips. Each member of the graduating class was provided with a TALON Grip for their Gen 4 Glock 17. Training conditions included indoor and outdoor shooting with temperatures ranging from 70 F to -10 F.

Feedback from the instructor and students included:

  • Increased weapon retention
  • Greater recoil mitigation
  • Greater speed and accuracy of follow up shots
  • Reduced hand condensation
  • Increased overall performance of the firearm

Quote from the instructor:

“Overall in review, I believe it would be fair to say ¾ of any group could benefit from the use of the product.  Benefits can include the psychological effect of confidence the shooter has in the grip on the weapon, not just function.”

  • I own the exact Talon gun grips featured in the photo of this Glock 17 of your announcement. I completely agree with the feedback. It has been my experience that handgun retention (this grip style is on my Glock 21 GEN 4), recoil mitigation, accuracy of follow up shots and not finding perspiration of my hands has been key to my proficiency on the range.
